As Handyman Assistant at House Doctors, you are a key member of our team responsible for quality residential repairs and home improvement projects. You will work closely with our lead handyman and technician and uphold our standard for excellent customer service and professionalism.

House Doctors Home Improvement and Handyman Service have been helping homeowners with home repair and light remodeling projects for over 20 years across the U.S. Our friendly, insured and bonded craftsmen are scheduled to arrive on time and are committed to complete customer satisfaction. Each of our handymen is experienced in home maintenance, product installations, and a variety of home improvements. Our customers will have peace of mind knowing that every job we perform comes with a one-year guarantee.

Daily Duties

· Assist carpenter and other technicians in their duties as they perform repair and home improvement projects on residential homes. This includes measurements, lumber cutting to specifications, painting prep, project set-up and project clean up, among other duties as needed.

· Follow safety protocols.

· Some independent work will be expected.

Qualifications and Characteristics

Possess basic skills and knowledge in carpentry and handyman tasks and be ready to expand those skills as you learn with our technicians
Own and maintain a basic selection of tools necessary to perform work.
Understand and execute instructions while asking questions when needed
A friendly personality and professional presentation.

· Team player who can work well with others but is also able to work independently without heavy supervision

· Manage time to effectively meet deadlines.

Valid driver’s license with no major violations or accidents in the last 3 years is a plus.
Must be willing to submit to background check and drug check.
Must have reliable transportation

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
